The hardest part of doing anything is just getting started. Whether you’re looking to start a business, read a book, mow the lawn its never as involved or difficult as you may think it is and you certainly don’t have to climb a mountain every time although, you can work your way up to this. Most people tend to procrastinate or throw up obstacles and excuses which never really help get the job done. It takes just as much effort to put something off and say i’ll do it later or give it another 5 minutes than it does to actually just get up and do the thing in the first place.

However, the reward and benefits of getting things done is far greater than putting them off. Just think about how you feel when you complete a task? Human beings thrive on a sense of achievement and the more achievement we have the better we feel. You can either be average or you can be on another level. Average people will always say things starting with “I wish” and achievers who are on another level don’t need to wish because they get up and “do”.

If you really want to see the difference then for the next week don’t put anything off, just do it. As soon as you have a task no matter how small or big just get up and get on with it. The one thing we can’t get back is time and thats why it’s so important that we use it wisely and make the most of it.
